The 2013 theme was based on tensions of the city based on nostalgia.  We asked filmmakers to examine the retro and the modern, using parallels of architectural aesthetics and contemporary cinematic experiences as inspiration for their films.  Out of nine teams, eight produced a film with *six of them doing so within the 24 hour limit.

A young woman seeks the help of a private detective and their journey takes them to strange places and beyond.

Picking up a hitchhiker on his way into the city, a young man is taken to a feast filled with complications.

The life of a flyer man is thrown into turmoil when a new by-law outlaws the only thing he’s ever known. 

HERE, THEN

Trapped in a closed off atmosphere, a trip to the ROM helps a young woman confront her issues with her surroundings.
